Proximity Rules

The system now supports proximity rules for devices.  They are created as follows: 

(Metric Units) 

1. Create a new Rule 

1. In the Devices sub menu select at least two devices 

1. Select Rule Type sub menu then select the Proximity Rule Type from the Rule Type drop down. 

1. Select the distance to be used to triggerm the proximity between any of the devices.  If your user preference is set for Imperial, you can enter feet, yards or miles as follows: 1000ft, 50yd,  or 5.25mi.  If your user setting is set for Metric measurements, you can enter in meters or kilometers as follows: 22m, 800km. 

1. Select the proximity time window:  This setting controls how far back or forward in time to look for other devices in the proximity area.  For example, if this is set to 1 hour, then the rule will trigger if device A visits location L, and device B visits location L within the next 45 minutes.
