Features are map images (like geofences, boundaries, or points of interest) placed on a map to help track the activities of Devices (or Radios). Features are created to alert you when a Device enters, gets near or leaves a specific area. Application allows you to create an almost unlimited number of on-screen Features for tracking Devices. The software provides easy-to-draw squares, circles, polygons or distance lines. These images can be placed over large geographic areas, in small local neighborhoods or as multi-zoned features (as seen below).
Example: Multiple Security Zone Features
When a Feature is created, it is attached to a list of Features in the Features grid. A special Feature
ID number is generated at creation, along with a name or label.
All Features either can operate independently or be connected to an Operation and to specific Devices for monitoring. A list of your assigned Features is found using the Menu.
