UniGateMon is a service that monitors the Unitrac TCP/IP gateway, UniGate, and restarts the gateway if it can't log in twice in a row. It tries every five minutes by default.
If UniGateMon can not log in, you may see errors in the event log similar to those below:

Restarting UniGate...
UniGateMon logs in as user UniGateMon using the username as the password. If the UniGateMon user was deleted from Unitrac or its password changed it won't be able to log in and will then restart UniGate. Restarting UniGate drops all AutoFind connections.
Verify that the user account UniGateMon exists. Log into the UniTrac OLD UI using a Super Administrator account and view Users. Under Initial User, a user named UniGateMon should exist. If it does not, then create one; the Customer is Initial Customer, use UniGateMon for the Name, the Software Login, and Password. Click Update Record to save the changes.
The username and password are configured in the registry too. Modifying the registry should only be done by experienced personnel familiar with the registry. If you are not familiar with the registry or are not sure of what to do, please contact the Help Desk for assistance.
You can also stop the UniGateMon service and set it to Manual startup mode.
